New Control Tower Coverage by 5DME.NET

Local aviation web site www.5dme.net has been covering the new state-of-the-art control tower construction since the ground breaking ceremony in 2010. Aviation Media has been providing many of the images you see relating to the new tower. Our images and video for 5DME has been the only complete coverage of the project.

Concrete was continuosly poured day and night until the core reached about 21 metres in height.

The 21 metre core had a pre-cast concrete flared section added and the cabin will be built on top. This will make the overall height around 44 metres.

5DME Coverage

There are over 400 images in the 5DME Galleries and many videos about the construction on the 5DME web site.

For a complete listing of images that date back to the beginning of construction you can visit the 5DME PHOTO GALLERY
