FiveDME Objectives
Established in May 2008, it is a team of media professionals running a full-featured web site dedicated to promoting the positive aspects of aviation to the community and encouraging participation in aviation and aviation related events, especially in South Australia but also bring articles from abroad to the South Australian aviation community.
Our charter is to organise coverage with authorities and organisations of latest aviation news and events. To provide a first class experience for our on line readers and viewers. Whatever your interest in aviation fiveDME covers the stories and news for you. We have working relationships with Airservices Australia, Adelaide and Parafield Airports, Defence Media and many local airport operators, pilots and aero clubs.

Videos are our forte and we strive to engage the community and to assist worthy causes such as Angel Flight, Fun Flight and Aero Clubs.

We pride ourselves on providing far more detail than most other media outlets. Our coverage is aim at those with a keen interest in aviation and as we are able to attain information that is beyond the average media coverage, we trust you as our reader/viewer will be in the front seat when it comes to aviation in South Australia.
Education
FiveDME provides educational information, service and support to local aviation groups such as the Australian Air League (Cadets). We’ve instructed on photography and video techniques and safety. The team at FiveDME have also participated in the operational trial of Airport Watch with AFP, OTS, Adelaide Airport and were invited to participate on the Adelaide Airport Watch Committee once the concept was underway.
History
We are also collecting aviation history and recording it for future generations of enthusiasts. Our video show Aviation Legends is being produced in 2015. This is where we will talk to various aviation icons and bring their stories to you. Information will be archived on the site for the future.
