75th Anniversary 10 & 11 Squadrons RAAF Edinburgh

Yesterday 4th October 2014 the team from 5DME visited the Edinburgh RAAF Base to join the 75th Anniversary Celebrations for 10 and 11 Squadrons.

The event was families only and there were several aircraft open for walk through including a P8 Poseidon and four P3C Orions including one from the USA.

The Roulettes performed and air display and four Orions and the Catalina flew a formation over the base and over Adelaide. The P3s also demonstrated with a handling display.

The 5DME video coverage of the event will be ready next week. This includes interviews with the CO and Historian with Nigel Daw.
