Last weekend the fiveDME crew attended the Barossa Airshow with our mobile studio/OB Unit. What a great day, lots of flying and fun for everyone. During the day we had the chance to interview many of the personalities of aviation in SA. Plus, our new presenter Lucianne took the opportunity to get some happy snaps with the pilots and crew of the air show.
The following video is a bit of a first for Aviation Now as it’s the first show we’ve produced over 5-10 minutes in duration. Later this week, we will edit and upload all the individual segments so you can pick and choose what you wish to watch. For now, here is the episode in it’s entirety.
As always the Barossa Airshow is one of our favourite events and part proceeds go to charity. This year the Starlight Foundation and St Jakobi School will benefit from this amazing event.
What is great is the students from the school help organise the show which adds to their experience and skill set for life ahead.
The crowd is estimated to be in the vacinity of 5,000 which could make this one of the biggest Barossa Air Shows yet.
We can only look forward to the next one in 2017.
